For WhatsApp, the reply arrow is available during the instant preview/toast message. Once it's gone and 'moved' to the Hub the reply arrow is not there anymore.

Ok got one more thing, when you read a msg/mail and get back to hub the instant actions show up for that specific msg/mail.

When they show up if you click the "mail/msg icon " of that specific mail /msg it becomes unread.

But you have to do it in the time instant actions show up.
