Hi All have about 10,000 contacts and when I go to search it freezes after one letter for almost a minute

Anybody ever experience this?
Anybody got any potential workarounds?

Probably because to the sheer quantity of your contacts? Anyway, what OS are you using? You may have to reload your OS.

Wow, 10k is a boat load of Contacts. I too would guess search is being taxed heavily causing the delay.

How many do you speak with on a yearly basis. I can not fathom speaking to more than 400 or 500 on a routinely basis even for the most active coordinator.

I have 1300 and experience the same. The linking thing is frustrating.... my contacts show up as first name first name last name - and the only way to fix it is go in and unlinking, fixing the one with a problem and Re linking.

Coarse that includes linkedin and twitter which are synced and I only take to 100 regularly but you want to keep the numbers just in case

10.3.0.908 is my current software using a passport so thought it would be able to handle

Maybe it's a bug?
