I have had an issue whereby details of different contacts have been oddly merged with phone and emails added to contacts where they don't belong. Now my most frequent contact has been renamed to include a bus route number and the person's last name. I managed to remove the added phone and email information but cannot find out how to reset the contact name.

Is there a way to edit contact names in BlackBerry 10? I don't want to delete this contact as there are many messages between us I would like to keep. This problem may involve merges of 2-3 contact's info into one contact. I have no idea how it happened but as I pocket dial frequently maybe I also pocket edit contacts somehow.

I've got this problem, too. It's embarrassing answering the phone to one person (the contact name that comes up), only to find it's someone completely different
