I don't know about Gmail but my Outlook synced pretty good. What I think it needs time to sync properly. i will give atleast two days to sync properly.
You can also check sync interval in account settings if a larger frequency is given.

The options given as "Automatically sync contact" and "Unmerge existing contacts" have made my berry bearable

My Gmail and Outlook accounts both sync correctly to my BlackBerry Z10. I will be the first to point out that ActiveSync does a much better and faster job of syncing the changes and additions of my contacts and emails. By better, I mean read vs unread, phone number changes, and even pictures. I think it is time to leave IMAP in the past.
