So as the title says, I'm getting this notification below about 2 times per day but I don't want to upgrade as I will then loose my "timed messages" & "Message retraction" which is still working perfectly

Is there anyway I can stop the updates? If not it doesn't matter, it's just a little annoying

Check App World and see if there is indeed an update available. If there is, update.

The user mentioned that he doesn't want to update. Currently, there is no way to get rid of that notification, and I doubt there would be a way to suppress it. You would have to put up with ignoring the notification for the time being. I am not looking forward to updating BBM, so I will have to put up with this slight annoyance that you are currently experiencing.

He may want to stay on an older one where stickers aren't the default in the emoticon section. We all are hoping for a newer BBM where simple emoticons are first

Last I checked, you only get stickers if you have a blank text field. I honestly don't think one extra tap to be that outrageous of a thing to stop me from updating my app, but hey! What do I know.

i don't like the way channels are now, for example if you own a channel and look in the "info" section which tells you about all your subscribers and view. Its now all black with just the number lit up.

Also I've seen that when typing a message to someone there is a horrible "smily" emoticon on the bottom right instead of that lovely yellow smily thats been there for ages.

This any many other things i don't really like with the new update and is the reason i don't want to upgrade. Blackberry keep changing the wheel but there was nothing wrong with it. IMO

No Matty - no way to cut it off, I'm cool with hitting it so I don't get the update - at least on my Q10 - damn Classic came with the upgraded BBM grrrrr
