Anybody having this problem? Say "john doe" is in your contacts and his number is 5555555555. But when john Doe texts you it comes up +1(555)555-5555. Same number but the name or pic doesn't appear. Any help is appreciated. Q10 running 1925...

Sounds like you just updated the OS. The phone has to re-index all the data on the phone. In time it will return if you've recently updated. Give it a few hours.

Actually updated about 2 weeks ago... still think it's indexing? I'm having a hard time buying that

Me too. Normally just a few hours for me. If haven't heard of the delay being weeks.

Have you looked at your contacts to ensure that they weren't corrupted during the update? Tour symptoms seem identical to the norm for updates but never for so long.

All my contacts are synced through Facebook or Google. They were all added automatically after the update... I don't get it. I can delete them and reload but it appears the problem is that phone isn't recognizing the received phone number because it's comes in with the bracketed area code and a +1 for the national code, when it should be.
