You know BB10 is good when some of its most vocal detractors are saying nice things about it. I don't expect them to totally remove all reservations (but maybe the full reveal will change that).

I haven't seen the calendar app before but it looks really good. You can see a lot of TAT's implementation in it, for example, making the dates bigger for days when you are busy.
On a side note, I really hope the new BB Link or Desktop thing that BB is making is released with BB10. Having my contacts and calendar on my desktop synching through a BB product would be really nice as oppose to having to use, for example, outlook, gmail, or ical to keep my calendar up to date.

The phone looks amazing and the article is very positive, so it's disappointing that this kind of positive news doesn't affect the market.

I wouldn't worry too much about the stock. It is probably down on fears that the European Union cannot grow funds from its already depleted tourist countries. What does that have to do with tech stocks you didn't ask? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Apple is making money hand over fist while product is flying off the shelves and they are down almost $100 since September.

As much as Gizmodo is an iPhone and Android fanboy site, there is a substantial number of BlackBerry people, or at least those who have an interest in BB10 and/or want to know more about it. I try to fill people in, handle is G-Fresh.

On the contrary, RIMM has actually rebounded and doubled in value since its Sept low. That's right about the time we started seeing more and more of BB10. The last time RIMM "crashed" was after their last financial announcement, and that was due to the change in their service fee structure. It had nothing to do with the new OS or new hardware.
