Just as it sounds, when in a contact's profile , I click on their email address to send an email and PayPal opens.

    Any ideas?

Check app manager > default apps
Delete PayPal if it's listed. If not *shrug*

I deleted PayPal to solve the problem. Not sure what other solutions there are.

It happened to me, just one time. It hasn't happened since. I thought I had accidentally hit something that I shouldn't have.

Forgot about this thread till it happened again. Nothing in app manager. And I don't want to delete PayPal since I use it.

I had this problem too and it drove me crazy.

I ended up deleting Paypal and it solved the issue. And if you really want, just get a browser bookmark for PayPal and it would work the same.

Let your PayPal account go to $00. The bank that is connected to your PayPal account will make the transfer and pay. Was told to do this by PayPal rep 8 months ago. Works perfectly for me. No need to transfer $ any more and no more issues for me.

Why would you have your "default email send" set as PayPal anyway? Am I missing something here?

I thought deleting it would fix the error, but now mailto: gives an error message and won't work. When I search mailto: in universal search, it says Action Paypal. Not sure how to fix this.

This is the point....we didn't set mailto: default to PayPal, PayPal must have done it during install, and we can't figure out how to fix it without deleting PayPal.

Anyone have any luck yet? Fwiw, I'm on 10.2.1.
