    I'm just wondering if there is any way to change the way a bookmark on the home screen shows up?

    A lot of people have been recommending to do this as a measure to fill the need where apps lack. The only problem is this can make your home page visually unappealing.

    Does anyone have a solution or am I out of luck?

    I wonder where I should put the ico file on my website so that when the website is added to BlackBerry home screen the ico is added as an app icon.

    I have noticed that with some websites, e.g. Google Maps or Symphony PHP, there is such an icon. With other sites, BlackBerry browser just makes a snapshot of the page.

    What's the trick?

    There is no way to change it, but some websites will automatically have an icon the phone will look for.

    Some are 1/2 size like the Empire Mobi logo in this screenshot, while the IMDB one is full size.

    Any developers here? BlackBerry just looks for a particular file, and if it doesn't find such, it makes a snapshot of the page.

    What is that file and where should I place it on the server?
