Hey, can anyone point me to a thread about this or help me.

I'm trying to switch from Passport to Z30. BlackBerry Link won't allow data transfer due to each phone running different OS versions. I've updated both phones to latest update available and both phones have different updated OS versions.

Not sure how's to proceed to transfer all data over to other phone. Hopefully someone can help me out.

Upgrade/downgrade the Z30 to have the same OS as the Passport. That would be easiest/fastest presuming you haven't set up the Z30 yet and have yet to transfer any of the Passport data. Device Switch with BB Link isn't working??

or just save the data on the sd card and move it that way.

Instead of trying to import a backup, use the device switch option in Link which takes out some of the OS level dependent settings.

OK, I will try that tonight. I thought I was using Device switch and was having the issue.

Hello everyone, I've made the switch to Z10 to a new Z10. But after doing that rest all things are fine except that the contact names have been deleted but numbers remain. For example, on WhatsApp, numbers appear instead of names. Not for all though, only for a some people.

Please help.
