This is very disappointing. Nor my Passport or my Leap will connect via bluetooth with my Priv. They 'succesfully connect' for 2 or 3 seconds before they disconnect. I needed to pair them for bluetooth tethering and was not able to do it.

Also, Android Beam doesn't work between Priv and DTEK50. These devices should be fully compatible between them. They are all BlackBerry after all.

Try Dukto, it is cross platform (even BB10). Simple app and works nicely with everything.

I will run more tests and report the results. I own several BlackBerry devices and expect them to be fully compatible between them. I hope BlackBerry doesn't disappoint me on this. I am a very happy BlackBerry user, and coming from the crappy iPhone I have a lot to thank BlackBerry for. However, as I want to use all of the features that were never even available for the disastrous iOS platform, I expect them to work.

2. A BB10 device WILL bluetooth tether a BlackBerry Android device.
3. A BlackBerry Android device WILL tether a BlackBerry Android device.
4. A BB10 device will tether a BB10 device.

Furthermore...

5. A BlackBerry Android device will NOT beam a BB10 device.
6. A BlackBerry Android device will NOT beam a BlackBerry Android device.
7. A BB10 device WILL beam a BlackBerry Android device.
8. A BB10 device WILL beam a BB10 device.
