X-post from reddit, couldn't get any help there...

This started a couple weeks ago, if I am composing a message or in a group message then I cannot attach any file. If I click on the paperclip the screen darkens for a few seconds which is normal but it never goes to the next step and pull up the file manager. However, I can go to a specific file in file manager and share it in an email, SMS, or BBM.

I have a tendency to play in the App Manager and shutdown unused applications like Facebook and BlackBerry Travel, but I have not shut down anything that should have caused this problem. I did notice that "File Picker" is not running in the background like usual, could that be the problem?

I've already tried shutting it down and restarting and even a battery pull but nothing has fixed this. I'm kinda hoping it might get fixed randomly when Verizon releases 10.3 but who knows.

Any ideas what is wrong?

i am lately having the same issue, but by me it only happens when i select "File" from the list of options that can be attached. Perhaps it might have to do with the amount of files saved on the device.

I don't think that's it, my stockpile of songs, videos, and pics hasn�t changed at all for over a year. Just in case though, I am running a 64GB SD card and I have dropbox connected. Here is my data useage: internal 65% of 13GB free, external 51% of 59GB free, and dropbox 79% of 10GB free.

Having the same issue. For example, if I am composing a text message and try to attach a file via the paper clip, I can choose "picture" but it won't load my photo viewer to choose which file to share.

However, I can go to the photo viewer app, select a photo, and choose "share" to send it just fine...

Verizon finally pushed 10.3.2 and all problems are now fixed
