    Just wondering if it is possible to connect your laptop and bb10 phone over a public wifi. Im at school now and dont have a micro usb cable on me. Thinking of installing the new leak later on but i wanted to back it up while i was here. Is it possible to backup over wifi on a public network? I know i can do it at home, but over the school wifi it doesnt seem to connect...

    I couldn't get it working. I ended up going home and hooking it up and backing up normally.

    Probably not a good idea anyway. Pouring all your data across public WiFi, and likely hogging the bandwidth with gigs if backup data.

    You can't backup over wifi anywhere. It has to be through USB. I don't see how you would have had the time to even do it at school anyhow. A backup takes over an hour for me, and a restore twice as long. Running an autoloader takes about ten minutes, however.
