So this morning I dropped something under the car seat and couldn't find it in the dark. I keep a flashlight in my own car, but I drove my daughter's car to work today. She keeps her flashlight in her purse though.

It's also when I realized I had no flashlight app for my phone. Yeah this falls into the "you never realize you need it until you need it" category.

So... what's a good one to use, that will turn on my camera flash when I need it? I'm sure there are plenty such apps, but just curious what other people's faves are. Thanks!

Headless Torch by Burning Platform would be my recommendation, turns the flash on by a double click of the convenience key.

Not sure what version, but BB10 has had a built-in Flashlight for a few years now - accessible via the quick drop down menu.

There are plenty of apps out there, but unless you use this feature a lot.... those headless apps are going to use resources.

Man I take my flashlighting (is that a word lol) serious. The pull down menu is all you need on BlackBerry10 but I use both Headless Torch by Burning Platform and BeFlashlight by Bellshare GmbH.

I set the F keyboard shortcut to BeFlashlight and the icon is on my home screen.

Light Anytime is a good app for that. It works even with the phone locked.

I use volume up, volume down, volume up, volume down to turn it on.
