Is there any way to change the default setting (auto) to Action. I'm having much more success taking pictures using the action option but it's a pain in the **** to have to go to settings and change it every time I take a picture.

    Thanks in advance!

I was hoping that maybe you had found a way to default. Alas!

I also prefer the "action" setting instead of the auto for taking pics. Would be great to be able to change the default settings.

There is unfortunately no "set to default" with regards to the "Action Option" I also really like the action option. It increases the "stability" and "smoothness" when moving the camera around.

What you could do, I simply keep the camera App minimised and when you need to use it just call it back again and you will have the Acton option still there as "default"

Which may sound strange for most, but anyone that actually uses any app on a regular basis (and by that, I mean over 5 times every 2 hours) is used to doing.

10.3.2.680 drastically improved the camera functionality for me, particularly the focus time and not having to refocus after I press the capture button on my Passport. Not to mention the fact pictures are looking excellent in all light conditions. Also, macro mode has been fantastic for me with 10.3.2.680. I'm quite happy with 10.3.2.680.

You don't happen to have another unit there so you can compare .680 and .798 do you? It seems the newer version is not so capable when it comes to the camera.

I do have another device, but it's a Q10 and it's also running .680 and experiencing similar results to my PP.
Before I got the update on my PP, it would focus and then when I tapped the capture button, it would have to refocus before taking the picture. This is not happening anymore with .680 and not sure if I'd want to go to .798 if you're saying the old ways are back.

I am not. I don't take that may pictures. But on the last BerryFlow, Bla1ze mentioned that .680 had poor battery/great camera while .798 has poor camera/great battery.

    Made me curious.

I'm not experiencing poor battery at all. Here are the past two days and note that on Saturday, I streamed two hours worth of music:

I would also like to default settings. I always use the time shift option and every time I have to go to the settings to change it.

For me, both the battery and camera are excellent on my PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.680. Battery is the same as it was when I was on 10.3.1 and the camera is drastically improved.
So far, I'm very happy with this OS. I heard Blaze on the BerryFlow podcast but I've got to say my device is not experiencing any battery issues.

I am wondering if other loaded software for each user plays a part on each BlackBerry experience whether its battery or camera related. I have better picture taking (focus is better) but battery is same as before. My battery consumption has never compared to what others are claiming. I have never had a full day with heavy usage but I have never run it to zero either
