A while ago some helpful chap left a list of .bar files that could be left out of a autoloader/update that would not cause the phone to crash.
After the rather disappointing last update which broke various things I was wondering was it possible to cook up a custom setup with the best bits and omitting things that aren't used (like BBM and storymaker) to streamline it.
As a total novice at this could anyone leave some links or advice as to the best way to go about this.
    I have a Z10 STL100-2 in the UK
    Many thanks

You can't omit things that are core to the OS. You leave out BBM and StoryMaker, you're likely to end up with a device that won't boot. Language files, BlackBerry Assistant voice files, are all fine to ditch but going deeper than that is not really suggested.
