    Can anyone confirm the stock browser user agent on your bb10 phones?

    My q10 says Mozilla/5.0 (BB10; Kbd) AppleWebKit/537.35+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.3.2.2876 Mobile Safari/537.35+

    Curious thing is that if I set the stock browser to desktop mode the user agent returned to a website is this:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/600.1.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.1 Safari/537.85.10

    Can this influence in any way the phone share statistics?

    Only if stat sites are basing it purely on user agent, which would be incredibly stupid.

    Couple years back I made some work for these stats companies. Yes they use the user agent as target for stats. Others use certain apps to collect data about the phone hardware.

    Netmarketshare is one who uses the user agent to get their stats.

    Confirmed that if you login on your twitter account from the browser you will get noticed that your account has just been accessed from Safari

    WTF? I have a BlackBerry not an iphone!
