I enabled "Mobile Network" in addition to WiFi and my battery is getting eaten alive. Running 10.3.1.1054

I have turned off "mobile Network" and see what happens.

I find my battery is usually better when on Wifi even with network on also, as long as it is connected. Some times when I don't have wifi signal it searches and searches and drains the battery

I just have mine set to WiFi... haven't really noticed battery life being affected too much. But if I leave WiFi range and come back, it doesn't seem to want to reconnect unless I reboot the phone.

I imagine over Mobile Networks would depend a lot on your signal strength... wonder how much data it would use, just staying connected?

when i used Blend for the first time yesterday, i also notice a bigger battery drain. I only enabled wifi connection. When i look up on the divice monitor it was not blend that consuming the battery but the device connection app. Today it is already much better. I'm now 6 hours connected end the device connection used 0.23% ( yesterday about 6% in 1 hour) Maybe it's had to settle in like a new OS.

I have noticed Blend using battery...

I downloaded 10.3 yesterday, for my Z10. Blend was installed. However Blend is not available for Z10 yet... its just added to your phone regardless. I opened the app, closed the active frame, but it KEEPS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND!

It uses tonnes of battery... don't know what it was doing... but it made my battery life become non-existant. Like 4.5 hours to drain a complete battery, and most of the time the phone was sitting idle in my pocket!!!

In the same screen you have shown. Press and hold on BlackBerry blend. And it will give you the option to close it. Your battery life will improve drastically.

I had the same experience with excessive battery drain when Blend is on. I turned it off and now my power consumption has dropped significantly. My system is turned to wifi but it doesn't help
