    Isn't that exactly what the Priv is supposed to be? They didn't call it BB11, but it is a BBOS based on Android, as close to BB10 as they could get it and still meet OHA requirements.

    No, it's not. Priv has Android on it, not an Android based OS. FirePhone has an Android based OS. When you make an OS that is based on Android you don't need the OHA requirements. BlackBerry Priv runs Android and it has extra features from BlackBerry.

    So a BlackBerry that runs Android applications, but doesn't officially have access to Google Play Services. Can't see many people standing in line to buy that.
