Is the dialer on the latest BlackBerry10 dev software available? I saw it in the Vietnamese BlackBerry Z10 leak and the dialer there and incoming call looked a bit choppy. Can anyone comment from seeing Dev Alpha or internal build if these will be smooth at launch?

I don't have a Dev Alpha, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Phone application is disabled on the Dev Alpha devices. I'm unaware, though, if any calls can be accepted or even made to the device. I've heard some saying that it's possible (perhaps through a Bluetooth headset), but I'm not sure.

You can be sure, however, that it will be smooth at launch. We've yet to see any final software on any device thus far. Even the Z10s that we've seen are currently running developer software. The final build will be shown off on 30 January.

I just want it to be super smooth. I hate now on my 9900 how if the phone is being laggy even incoming calls and buttons get laggy. Drives me nuts!
