Hello everyone,

I am living in Switzerland and many nice apps are not available in our country on the BlackBerry World.

So I read about the proxy trick for the PlayBook and wanted to ask if this also possible for the BlackBerry Z10?

If you turn wireless network off BlackBerry World won't work with a phone. When you turn it back on it will use your wireless connection to determine your country and carrier.

So, no. I'd say it won't work.

I found out that if I put in my US AT&T SIM Card I at least get some kind of a US view of the BlackBerry World because the prices are no longer CHF (swiss currency) they are displayed in $... But when I log in to the BlackBerry World on the desktop it still showes me Switzerland as country...

There must be a workaround... but I think nobody found out yet...

This is one of the things I was scared about when moving from iOS as I can simply change between the Australian and US iOS App stores.

Why does BB make the SIM so tied for updates and BB World?
