    I just opened up Blackberry World and see that on the front page where they profile apps there is one that says "New OS Update Available". If they are now pushing updates through Blackberry World and not relying on the carriers, this is FANTASTIC!!! Thank you Blackberry!!!

    I've been waiting for Verizon release it and that wasn't happening. I am just doing a backup and then I will try the update through BB World.

    If you are then no, they're not pushing updates through BBW, they're just showcasing the new features of 10.3.1

    No .. that's not what I'm referring to. I can't take a pic at the moment as I'm running a backup. But once I'm done, I'll post a pic. I'm at 17% of backup.

    dna47 ... it is the same colour as the pic you posted, but it actually says New OS Update Available, and when I go in there, there was an option to update at the bottom. I will show you once backup completes.

    ughh ... sorry for false alarm. I came back to update this thread.

    So that "upgrade now" button threw me off. I thought I would be able to upgrade through BBW. What it actually did was take me to the Software Updates menu within settings. And my Verizon z30, running on the Bell Network, still does not have the update available. Sigh ... what a buzz kill for a Friday.

    Why not using autoloader or Sachesi? It seems like you can't wait for the update

    I would love to. But my device is connected to my employer BES and when I run Sachesi, it starts and then closes the connection. I assume the IT policy is blocking it from running.

    My only option, I believe, is to:
    1) wipe the device
    2) load the new OS through autoloader/blitz
    3) restore from backup all the apps and saved data for games (but I will lose my BBM conversations )
    4) maybe load snap since I won't be able to once I connect back to BES
    5) reactivate my BES connection
