@blackberry.net addresses?
Will they be a thing of the past with BB10? may have been discussed or addressed already but I just thought of it and how they can't be set up/used on the playbook.

I've seen a post somewhere with the latest BIS updates stating this will no longer be supported on BB10 devices, with free forwarding of email to another address for a year.
I must admit, I've never used these given they are only accessible on the phone and loose it should you change carrier. - 01-29-2013, 04:55 AM #4
Well that's disappointing. i use my @telus.blackberry.net as my personal e-mail(urgent) because my phone is always-on and with me.

You can setup most email accounts with a blackberry, with most webmail providers giving instant push email and SMTP email only a delay of 15 minutes.

I used to get my GMail email before I would get the "CC" to the bb.net address. You will have the ability to forward your bb.net address for 12 months, but after the 12 months it is gone for good. I am trying to find the article. I should have book marked it, I know it is with the BIS
4.14.3 sp1 or whatever update. When I find it I will edit this post with the link.

I never used my blackberry.net address.. that fact that it dies if you switch carriers was a major sore spot, but more importantly there's no web access for attachments and the like.
