have you signed in with your BlackBerry ID? In order for BBM to work, you need to have a valid BlackBerry ID.

Have you checked to see if you inadvertently turned off your Data Services?

The same thing happened with my BlackBerry when I switched the carrier. After many complaints towards BlackBerry and my carrier it was back on its place.
I had that issue only when using my Simcard Internet connection, but everything worked properly on wifi.

I have this issue, suddenly started 2 days ago. No BlackBerry logo on network just on wifi.

Are we saying it's a carrier/network issue not phone?

It's potentially an indication that your device has lost its Internet connection entirely. My suggestion would be to get the current APN settings from your cellular provider, and check that what's in the mobile network APN settings on your BlackBerry is correct. After that look at what's changed - have you recently moved provider or been issued a new SIM? Any changes to your account?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    Not moved provider
    No new sim
No changes to account that I'm aware of.

Been fine for past 12 months then 2 days ago noticed the issue.

Definitely data related as I'm not getting push notifications but I CAN get on the Internet...so it's not a complete no data...just no push

But on wifi, get BlackBerry logo and push notifications as normal

Anyone got any further advice on this?

I've contacted BlackBerry Support who have been trying to assist for the past few weeks - they are stumped. I've sent log reports, tried various different things Inc new sim card...nothing has worked!!!!

It's a weird thing that seems to happen to more people from time to time. It happens every few weeks, haven't experienced for a few weeks now. Only solution: connect to Wi-Fi. You'l have al BlackBerry services back immediately. If no Wi-Fi around, hard reset your phone. It may take two or three tries. Sometimes it doesn't resolve the issue and I have to wait for it to come back. But the Wi-Fi connection always resolves the issue and the hard reset 9 out of 10 times. Good luck!

Yeah have it wifi... but not having it on the network seems to affect some push notifications and whatsapp - still have data services and can access Internet though.

Carrier have reset BlackBerry services there end too...nothings working.

I'm having the same problem on EE in the UK. No BlackBerry logo when not on WiFi. So can access the Internet but not BBM. Phoned EE today & they sent me a text to re-provision my phone settings but hasn't worked. I'll call them tomorrow again...

I'll post here the outcome, but I'm not holding out much hope. They didn't really know what it could be, & even wondered if there might be a dropout of the BlackBerry service or something. Anyway, let's see...

Okay, mine seems to have been resolved by the BlackBerry World update yesterday. If you read the details of the update it includes push services. Hope it fixes it for you all too.

Have you also tried the Wi-Fi connection? This definitely fixes it, as long as you're on Wi-Fi that is. I know, it's not a solution. How long has it been down by the way? I never had this problem for more than a few hours. They always pop back up after a while.

Yeah I have BlackBerry logo on wifi.

Issue started a good few weeks ago now, but reported it to BlackBerry after day 2. Noone can currently find a fix.

    I've tried:

    Soft resets
    Hard resets
    Reconfigure network
Register to BlackBerry (via the about - network option)
    Carrier reset BlackBerry services
    Carrier provided new SIM card
    Updated BlackBerry world
    Sent error reports to BlackBerry
BlackBerry Virtual Expert checks - all passed
    Waiting for 10.3.3

Don't know if bbm works as nobody I know uses it :-(

Hold both volume up and down buttons in for about 20 seconds until you see the boot up circle, then release.

It will also take a screen shot, but this is normal.

EDIT : sorry, the white space threw me there. Ignore this post.
