AM i the only one having this problem? I have a massive itunes library on my mac and a 32gb micro sd card in my BlackBerry. Whenever i sync my playlists, a bunch of songs become listed as <<Local file missing>>. I tried everything from reformatting my sd card to restoring my BlackBerry to factory default. I sill have the problem. Any suggestions?

I've heard of some problems with the Link-iTunes interface, but haven't dealt with it, myself. Perhaps someone can step in that has a solution for this problem.

    Mine does that.
For example, I just downloaded a play list of about 40 songs, not downloaded from ITunes but sent to my iTunes folder to "link" to my phone.
About 5 songs gave the sane message you described, maybe 4.
Have not tried any trouble shooting yet.

I quit using Bb Link for anything a few months ago. It is unreliable and buggy and I see no evidence that BB intends to try and fix it.

It's because Link is ridiculously terrible.

    Use mass storage mode instead.

Thanks for confirming it's not my imagination. I came out with a work around: (requires a micro sd reader / adapter. Tested on Mac only, use at your own risks!!)

    1) delete all play list from your BlackBerry device.
    2) turn off your BlackBerry and remove the micro sd card
    3) put your micro sd card in your computer.
    4) delete the content of the music directory from your micro sd card.
    5) copy the content of your itunes library from your computer using the finder to your micro sd card (be selective, it will not all fit especially if you try to copy movies and videos). Your itunes library is already setup : artist -> album -> songs. This is the structure you want to keep on your sd card in the music directory.
    6) put the card back in the BlackBerry. Turn on the BlackBerry
    7) connect your BlackBerry to BlackBerry link (wifi worked for me)
    8) drag your play lists to your BlackBerry using BlackBerry link

It seems to link up to the files on the card directly without trying to copy them.

    Alex
