Went to my local Rogers store to go play with a q10 and every q10 and z10 was in demo mode. Now I have a z10 and have had it since launch and I'm quite familiar with the os and the gestures. I was trying to use the phone in demo mode and was having difficulties. If they are going to sell these phones they need to get rid of these demos as they are crap and make the phone and os appear slow and unresponsive. They need to have more commercials which show off the gestures so that when someone picks up a phone they are more familiar with the gestures and will attempt them in regular mode. No one who hasn't seen the os before is going to purchase the phones after trying the demo mode. Really disappointed ,blackberry needs to change this soon.

Couldn't agree more. Or at least have a graphic on the phone that says how to swipe when you first take it out of sleep. The BlackBerry demo mode units are terrible.

Sucks yours isn't that great.

If yours are the same as ATT and Best Buy here in the States, then to get to the free-range mode, select Explore the Device on the initial menu. It's in the lower right corner and tiny. Hope that helps, because my experience was snappy.
