I was wondering about something it would be great if anyone would know about this and if they can help me out with this question am having. If i don't have the right terms i apologize in advance. The blackberry when using the data compress the data usage compares to like a iphone example if u have a android it it would use 5 gig but with blackberry it would be like 3.5 gig example. i was wondering am i right about that.

And if that's the case does it apply to blackberry bridge and has well when your turning your backberry into a hotspot ??

If anyone would know just help me out with those questions thanks in advance.

With bb10 there is no more data compression. The phone uses the same amount of data as iphone or android.

Thanks a lot for this i was wondering i saw my bill and it got me jumping. I saw my data want from 2 gig all the way to 5 gig for the same usage i was like wow thanks

Well gone a watch the blackberry bridge and the hotspot option closely damn !

If your on a BES10 server your e-mails will be compressed and encrypted according to Blackberry documentation.

Just use wifi whenever you can.
