How is it that one of the most basic apps of any OS, the calculator, doesn't function properly? Is it just me or do percentages never calculate correctly on BB10. How has this not been fixed?

Are you using it correctly?
I've never actually used the % button on a calculator up until now, always having just worked it out using the normal arithmetic operators, but I've given it a go.
On bb10 calc you type a number that you want to operate on, followed by an action (like plus, minus etc) followed by the percentage number you want the action to use, followed by the % button. So:

Add 25% to 50 is,
50 + 25 becomes
50 + 12.5 after the % button is pushed, which becomes
62.5 after the = button.

Looks good to me.

Exactly. It works fine for me. I'm guessing the OP has no idea how it works and decided to post about it to vent without researching.
