My computer running Windows 7 Pro only seems to connect to my Z10 using Blend, when I disable the windows firewall..
I checked the firewall settings and all the access points for Blend and anything to do with BB show that it allows incoming and outgoing connections, but still , if the firewall is enabled, it wont connect . Any ideas ?

good luck with that ,from 2 pcs running the same win 7 pro one it gives me the same thing
you can open all ports and it works but that's not safe or disable firewall
or you can disable firewall connect blend then enable it and blend will stay connected

Probably need to wireshark before and after to see what traffic is being blocked.

Not sure if this will help, but the MS FireWall needs to allow a couple of applications through. Here is my screen shot.

Works fine for me on Win7 pro and home premium. I think when I was installing Blend there was a pop-up I had to select to allow the pass-through.

I only see one of those items in the same screen you are in , none of the others are listed on my computer. Are you running Windows 7 Pro also ?

Do not use the version on the device, download the latest version as Bland will tell it needs the latest anyways.

I have to be honest I have lots of issues with blend. I've been using it for a few months now with my Passport. Sometimes it's great, most times it just drops connections.
I've lost patience with it now so no longer use it.

Posted using my FAB Passport. Loving it!
