    Just upgraded to at&t 10.3.2.556 (classic and passport). Noticed that word dictation and assistant are really slow to operate. If I try to dictate a sentence for a message, it might take 15 to 30 seconds to translate and insert in a message. Is this an issue with 556 or is that fairly normal? I hadn't noticed this as bad with other versions. Maybe I just didn't notice it as much? How are other versions doing?

    It seems pretty slow to me though I never tried it until I downloaded the Cortana apk and wanted to compare the two. Cortana seems much much quicker.

    I can't speak about your OS version but the assistant is working quite well and quickly on 10.3.2.2339.

    Voice dictation, is displayed within 1-2 seconds after the phone realizes I'm not speaking anymore.

    Web searches and general use are also very quick.

    Little more detail. If I'm on wifi and close to the router with 4 or 5 bars, assistant is fairly quick. If I have 2 bars, it's really slow. If I'm on cellular is excruciatingly slow.

    Yeah I guess that it depends on the WiFi.... my assistant's speeds oscillates from time to time so I guess it depends on the internet connection.... though on the same connection siri is faster... so I don't use BlackBerry assistant anymore..

    Cortana does very little on a BlackBerry device. There is no integration into the native functions of the BB10 OS.
