Ive noticed that if a BlackBerry device is plugged into a computer and the computer is in sleep mode the phone wont charge, what is up with that? if i put my mac to sleep by closing the lid my ipod touch will still charge because the computer is still on. I find this is a flaw with bb10

I dont see how a pc in sleep mode will charge one device, but not the other with same usb port??!

Mine keeps charging, even on a Hot Corner. MacBook Pro.

With my MBP, neither my z10, ipad, or ipod will charge unless it's on.

Make sure BlackBerry driver is installed or else it won't recognize the phone and will not charge it. Get BlackBerry link and it should be fine. My laptop in sleep mode also charges my Q10 with no problems.

Also make sure your usb port is compatible to charge in sleep mode. On my laptop 1 out of the 3 usb slots is compatible to charge in sleep mode..i have to turn that option on in my computer settings. Once I have it turned on..my usb 2.0 slot (the 1 out of the 3 usb slots on my computer) is able to charge my BlackBerry 10 phone or any other device when my computer is turned off/sleep mode.
