    Hi guys. I have the BlackBerry Q10 and I am running the latest version of blackberry 10.2. Can anyone explain me the whole concept of battery cycles. I have an app called "battery" ehich is found in the app world. Can anyone explain me what the cycles show there?

    It means how many times has the battery been charged. Although this reading hasn't been totally accurate in any apps I've seen.

    Yes, after a certain number of charges, batteries do wear out.

    To be precise: a battery cycle is complete emptying and complete recharging afterwards - I doubt that these application count the right way.

    What the hell? I just had it for 3 weeks and it's already 4275 cycles?

    Trust me in this. The cycles count is nor accurate. I restarted or updated my Z and the counter for reset.

    Probably that would help. I'm using my phone for less than a year, and it's already 9000 cycles. Idk. No app is capable of counting this cycles, I think.
