I have upgraded my z10 stl100-2 via BlackBerry Link and now software version is 10.1.0.2312 and operating system version is 10.1.0.4633.

So i am little bit confused what version do I have?

The new features stated here work fine(like new gestures in hub, search in BlackBerry remember).

Moreover after the bblink update now z10 still offers me update to 10.1.0.4181 in settings...

Can somebody please clarify this?

I updated to OS 4633 (Release 4181)and have had no issues whatsoever, whereas I experienced several oddities after trying 10.2.0.1047 for about a week. Which is why I then migrated to 10.1.0.4633. Besides, you can always run a backup on BlackBerry Link if you're worried about losing some info.

Software version is the complete release, including OS, radio, and all the native apps, each of which has its own number.

The OS version is usually the number you see on leaks here on the forum, the software version is what you see on announcements of carriers pushing updates.

The Software Release term basically gets attributed to an entire Software Release Package which in turn is comprised of several specific component files such as an OS, Radio, Browser and others. Hence 10.1.0.4633 is the OS which is included with the official software release 10.1.0.4181
