Lastly, we have heard that Research In Motion is planning on launching the BlackBerry Z10 at a price point*at a price point thats under the standard $199 price tag for a flagship phone,*so expect something at $149 or below with two year agreement.

How's such an article exclusive to BGR and not CrackBerry? What was the RIM PR team thinking?

so a 3 year contract here in Canada would be what then? $249?

Maybe RIM PR isn't their source ...

This strikes me as "carrier contact"

Logically, if we have to sign up for an extra year - then it should be cheaper. But because this is Canada, the laws of economics don't apply here and we'll probably be paying more.

There's nothing new here from what we have seen in leaked videos before. Northing earth shattering.

That's what I was thinking too.
If it's $149 on a 2 year in the US, an extra $100 for the 3rd year wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for me.

That's poor logic.... the carrier get's you locked in for an extra year so will make more "guarnteed" income from you. Normally, our 3 year contract price is the same, or close to, the 2 year contract price in the U.S.

is it? I don't follow those rates, I'd be more than happy at $149 for a 3 year plan, although my subsidy would be higher if the "true cost" according to the carrier is $700.

True. It does have a nice solid confirmation of DLNA support though, and a few similar tidbits that just solidify "what we already knew". Also all those screenshots make it look really nice... :-)

Welcome to Canada - where we pay more and get less.

Do we know yet how BB10 will be backed up? Is it still going to be via desktop software, or will there be cloud options?

There is a BB Protect available for backing up your offline notes, contacts. Box and dropbox for your files (pictures, video, music). Evernote for your notes.

BB ID for your apps and BBM Contacts. So, what you are worry for?

Oh, you can sync your contacts with gmail or exchange email too

So if I just make sure my contacts are synched with Google on my iPhone I should be good when I set up my Blackberry 10? All my contacts should be there correct?

No need to worry. There are plenty and plenty to try though we already see much from Blackberry 10. But still the experience to use it by ourselves is the best one

Even I always miss to touch London again and I would like to trade my Gnote II for London. If I cannot afford it by cash.

Things I learned from this walkthrough:
    - reminders will appear in the hub (hopefully, that includes contact birthdates and anniversaries)
    - we can access files & media on our device through wifi
    - calculator app is the same Cascades version as on the PB
    - I can say bad words when dictating

This just keeps getting better for me.

Looks like the good people over at that website got a taste of the BlackBerry. From what I can tell, even those that left comments like it.

That to me is the best sign.
