Try BES 10 Cloud for a bit and decide for yourself. You can use the trial for free until I think May 2015. I use it and I'm a single user. I like having my business on the work side. I'll miss it when the trial runs out. Hopefully there will be another cloud service trial or a paid one i can use after that. You will have to search on here for the link though. I have no idea what it is....

The BES 10 Cloud link seems to have died, there is a 60 day BES 12 trial here

Hi. Still interested in the original post. What would it benefit the individual user... I've never been in a corporate environment that used BES.

BES is potentially as useful for a single user as it would be for 1,000; a secure partition to keep work stuff encrypted and secure access to a network.

There is an admin overhead, though, and a subscription cost that will kick in next year. I wouldn't do it casually, but if I had some extra Windows Server licenses kicking around and I wanted to learn how to run BES, I might consider it.
