Only 6 days in on my bill period and I'm still under 1gb wow which is pretty sweet cause before with my iphone I would over 1gb by now or close to 2gb, really impressed by this

Quick question: since bell made everyone go to a BIS plan, is that helping me use less data? Cause I'm browser alot and apps & stuff plus at home I don't really wifi alot( like 45mins or so)

BIS doesn't apply to BB10 devices, only OS7.1 and lower devices. You may be on a "BIS plan" but it really isn't anymore as soon as you activate your Z/Q10.

I'm interested to hear that you seem to be getting better data usage on the Z10 over IPhone because most people upgrading to LTE from older 3G devices are noticing an increase in data usage.

Yes Bell is still charging for BIS. They are the only Canadian company doing so, from what I hear.

Bell's bis plan is just a normal plan with a blackberry in front of it. Only purpose is to insult anyone with a decent grandfathered plan

Personally I go through about 400mb a day due to streaming radio. That is 4 days a week while at work. I can easily go through 1gb even more in 6 days.

After 16 days of moderate usage my data plan meter still reports 0 MB used / 5120 MB available. I streamed radio for several hours a couple of evenings in an attempt to determine rough data usage on a generic data plan but so far my experiment has produced no results. I am not complaining, just curious. Anyone else recently switch data plans on Rogers?

I'm on Bell too... I have seen a slight increase in my data usage but nothing big. with my Bold 9900 I would sometime burst my 1gig plan... but now I have 1 week left to the month and still have over 200 MB left. considering I had been using the phone much more... Its not bad.

Something else I gotta add... on my Bell account activity... Its shows RIM data... I am still on a BlackBerry plan so that is odd. On the 28th... I am switching to a normal data plan with bell... I'll be able to report if it's different!

Yeah I switched from 500mb to 1gb when i got my Z10. So the Rogers app doesn't let me monitor my data until the next billing cycle.....

Bell isnt charging extra for a BIS plan, they just put you on a BIS plan
