Running the previous leak, 12mb OS update available now via Z10

Result - likely put files in place for 10.0.10.85

and

Result - 382MB update for 10.0.10.85 (your mileage may be different...seeing anywhere mid 100's to mid 700's and some reporting lengthy upgrades due to multiple upgrades apparently taking place one after another)

Seems the proper update you've been waiting for is being pushed now too.

No MobileTV updates quite yet...likely just the previously released notes as per Bell

unfortunately that is just a minor software update, Facebook, Linkin and Twitter to name at least some. its not the 150 MB update we are all waiting for.

Seeing as how I don't Face, Link or Twit, it was a nothing update. I just had to re-delete those apps.

Look before you leap folks... 10.0.10.85 is BROKEN.

"Work" email, (accounts using your own domain at your hosting company or the accounts provided by your ISP) that relies on Authenticated SMTP over port 587 is NOT working in the update. It has been broken in the TELUS and Rogers release of a week ago.

I spent three hours last night on the horn with BB (Case #26261168) and this morning they have acknowledged the problem to TELUS.

Gmail, Hotmail/Live/outlook.com and Exchange/Active Sync still works but AUTH SMTP on Port 587 (the way most ISPs and hosting companies do email) WILL NOT WORK!

Note: BB considers "hosted email" to be the you@carrier.blackberry.net accounts that are no longer being supported by BB while everyone else in the ether define hosted email as I noted above.

I do hope it's going to be fully functional vs the issues the @tceagle post points out, I use my device for heavy, heavy business communications.

battery was great on the leak, so unless Bell messed something up on their end, you definitely should be looking at improvement
