Does it use up more battery, once it's on?

Bedside mode is designed to be used while the phone is plugged in. I cannot see any point in using it without being plugged in, it sort of defeats its purpose.

Thanks, I just don't understand why all these people complain about the battery losing the charge in bedside mode when all they have to do is plug the dang thing in! There have been a few threads about this.

And why's that? It may sound obvious to you, but I sure need some explanation to this one. What is it's use really?

But it has a limited use. I mean, only if I charge my phone overnight, I can use it. Otherwise it's really a waste.

The Clock stays on only if the device is plugged in.

Well, since you think it's a waste, then don't use it. Kind of silly to NOT charge your phone overnight!

Bedside mode can be configured to switch off connectivity and sync. So, yes, it should save battery even without plugged into a charger. Tried myself and been successful with it.

Don't you think it's kind of silly, forget kind of, it is silly of you to expect me charge my phone overnight, when I really don't need to, cause maybe my phone doesn't need so much of charging overnight. And considering this, I really do think that it's a waste, of course for me. For someone who charges the phone overnight might wanna use Bedside mode.
