After updating Bebuzz everything worked fine and I was really happy that it finally went headless. Unfortunately after a while it stopped working at all, even when the active frame is open. I restarted several times already.
Interesting. Mine is working fine. Even did a reboot for an unrelated issue and worked without opening the app first. It starts up automatically on boot.

i as well am having the same issues... after updating it stopped working... emailed the dev, no response... know the history of bebuzz, we wont see an update for 6 months to fix the issue
Could be. Every please post their OS and if they are experiencing this issue or not.

Think I've found the problem, but not the solution. Apparently a headless app can only use a maximum of 3mb of memory. I've checked device monitor under memory and mines using 3.4mb (17mb when using active frame) don't know the solution to it tho

Hub++ had the same issues when it lost its head also. Yes you are correct about the 3mb limit. The dev for hub++ seems to have fixed it now but he did mention on a thread somewhere I read that BlackBerry had to allow for it their side
I'm trying to make it so that BeBuzz repeatedly reads aloud text messages from a certain contact. (I need to receive this even when I'm sleeping if I'm on-call.)
I've tried everything I can think of—keeping general media volume at max, going into the BeBuzz settings and turning TTS volume up to maximum, mucking around with system TTS options, etc.—but it still doesn't read text messages aloud.
From reading this thread, it seems like issues with BeBuzz aren't that uncommon, which makes me feel a little bit better. (It's not just me then.)
Does anyone have ideas to try out? I'd love to be able to get this working.
