I bought a Q10 in eBay.in, it s BBM Locked and BlackBerry Protect is not working, but every thing is working as usual, s.w: 10.3.2.2836-os-2876, no BlackBerry logo besides the signal when mobile data/ wifi is on, any advice, model no :SQN100-3

try to register blackberry,
get in to setting - about - choose network - then click the three dots on the right below - then register BlackBerry.

if it doesn't solve your problem,
then wipe your BlackBerry.

Tried with registration and wiped the device, it seems a enterprise device where services are locked by administrator, thank u

Hi I have the same issue other q10 I bought from flipkart. They've sent a technician to,check my q10 but they could not do anything. They also sent me a link thinking I'm using a beta version of bbm. Will try else have already asked for the refund. Even the BB logo doesn't show unlike my z30

Have you tried registering the device through the settings menu

It doesn't need to be registered to work. Only need bb id

Have you checked the accounts registered ?
If you find any that is not yours, then delete it.

Also, it should not be tight to a BBID, did you check the BlackBerry ID in the settings ?
If you find one, please advise BEFORE you try anything, extra procedure may be needed (previous owner has to de-list the device from his registered ones).

I have the same problem with my Q10 bought from eBay, but the seller said that its an entirely new device. I got the box and all the accessories. And I suppose wiping the BlackBerry should help, unless the BBpin is blacklisted or something

Yes I was able to do everything. Except BBM and blackberry protect. Internet was working fine, 4G was working too. I tried Jio on that phone.
