How can you send a pic through BBM without the name pic is saved under on your phone..a friend did it and won't say how..any ideas guys..

you'd have to rename the file first, I don't believe you can edit the name of the file during sending.

Not sure..pic just came through BBM with no name next to it..I know in BBM the pic always has name pic was saved under from person..and like you said it can't be edited..his phone is android ..just think it's really cool

It's in the latest BBM. Version 10.7.3.21

I'm still on OS 10.2.1 but I had this BBM version update and it changed the picture preview when you send it. It displays in the centre now, is bigger and without the image name tag.

But I have 10.7.5.30 installed and BlackBerry World is showing it as the latest..hmmm is that on android

Well I can't speak for android but im using my z10 and as I said I'm still on 10.2.1. This latest BBM updated changed how pictures were sent and received for me, before this it was the usual old way. If you said you were seeing the picture without tags then that means you already have the ability. what happens when you send pictures ?

It still sends the old way..have no idea why..on official 10.3.1 ...z10 -3

Hmm quite odd. When I updated all the previous images I had received and sent also changed to the new look in all my chat windows, with android users and bb, which means the change was from my end and not the other users. Maybe you could try a restart/hard reset etc but other than that I'm really not sure. Hopefully someone with the latest os can help you better.
