    You do realize that Glympse is an individual service separate to BBM, right?

    BlackBerry has a deal with them to include it in BBM, it's in no way unique to BlackBerry.

    It said it came out Sept 11. BBM Glympse came out before that.

    There's no such thing as "BBM Glympse". BlackBerry owns zero part of Glympse, they're a third party company who offers a service, specifically a location sharing service. BlackBerry chose to integrate Glympse into BBM, a value add, if you will.

    Glympse can partner with whoever else they want to integrate their services into other apps.

    In fact, long before Glympse was on BBM, it was an app itself first for Android and iPhone that let users share their locations. So I don't see what the issue is.

    Glympse has even partnered with Chaton (Samsungs messenger app)

    Glympse has been out long before BBM had it, it was just the first messenger app to get it

    It's a great Android app to install on your BB10 device... so you can send Glympses to people on other platforms that do not use BBM... or to people's email to view your Glympse on a desktop.
