There isn't much weight behind the whole html5 browser score but nevertheless one of the bragging rights for BB10 is being the highest scoring browser, but that will be short lived as the Tizen browser is in development alongside BB10.2, Tizen has the lead when it comes to browser score, may be its a warning of other things to come where Tizen may surpass Blackberry upon launch.

And just what hardware will Tizen be on? Unless it actually exists and is in production why even worry about it. I don't exactly see developers lining up to develop for a Samsung vanity project.

Let me give you a brief intro:

Tizen is backed by:

Samsung
Intel

Will be on:

Potentially be on TV's in 2014
Tizen is already in some vehicles
Will be on smartphones, tablets, watches

Backed by two big companies with no shortage of cash, its a pretty promising "vanity project" to say the least.

Blackberry10 on the other hand is backed by:

No one, it cannot sustain itself, no partners, no buyers.

Is on:

Phones (not very many, and declining fast)
Cars no one can afford.

So, for a device that "doesn't exist", it beats BB10 browser, it will be "probably" be able to integrate with more phsyical devices than BB10 (mobile computing done properly), the pet project shows more signs of life than the for sale on Blackberry.

The "demo" cars are the bentleys and porsches --- but the actual production cars that come with QNX are chevy's and chryslers.

Look at the actual points --- it's 2 API difference (and 5 of those points are for experimental web audio api). The bonus points are for the ogg theora and webm codecs.

Perhaps more importantly --- nobody actually cares about this score because everybody is talking about how BB10's sunspider score sucks.
