    I've seen reports saying of the Playbook being upgraded to BB10 later this year but is the 1GB of RAM in Playbooks enough to run BB10 smoothly? Can more crackberry experts confirm?

    you mean the 16gig and the 32gig and the 64gig??? they dont make a 1gig.. i dont think anybody made a 1gig anything since like 1992..lol

    My bad that's not what I meant. Don't all those PBs come with 1 GB of RAM not internal storage?

    If my memory is correct the Dev Alpha device had 1gb of RAM and ran BB10...so yea...I think it is enough...might not be able to do as many active frames and some might have to close for Apps that need more RAM...but likewise you won't have a phone and LTE or network connections running taking up RAM either (no counting the 4G PlayBook)...so should be good.

    Yeah it would be about a trimmed down version. It doesn't have the radios for one thing so that may help. Hope to see it soon

    I remember BlackBerry said that within one month of BB10 Launch, 90% of PlayBooks will get BB10 update. But it's been more than 1 month. Does anybody know when this update would happen?

    I don't think there was ever such a quote. All they said was BB10 for PlayBook will come later.

    Shylock Heins said BlackBerry OS 10 will come to the BlackBerry PlayBook later this year. In other words, the traditional RIM "soon" continues unabated.
