Any chance BB10 will be available for my Torch? My contract with T-Mobile is up in July and I was going to switch to Verizon and get the iPhone, but now I'm not so sure...

While I love my iPad and Macbook and think the iPhone is cool, I really love my Blackberry. If they have BB10 on my Touch it will give me a good chance to try it out before I make my decision.

BlackBerry 10 will not run on previously released hardware. (Exceptions being Developer Alpha devices, and the BlackBerry Playbook.)

Sorry but it is well documented that this isn't happening. BB10 will only run on the new hardwear that is coming out soon, with exception the the BlackBerry PlayBook.

Well, axllebeer, it may be well documented, but I don't keep up with all of the Blackberry happenings. In fact, I just created my account to ask this question and hadn't even heard of Blackberry 10 until about an hour ago.

I mean no disrespect. It's just been asked so many times here in the forums. It's unfortunate that this is the case really as I also would've loved to see the update on my BlackBerry Bold. But it is what it is I suppose. Don't let my moment of irritation keep you from exploring and asking more questions here on CrackBerry.

The current specs on blackberry phones most probably wouldn't be able to run BB10 as the os is for it to multi task without the phone to freeze and all other problems that we currently have.
