BB10 Storm Lives! SL10?

i love my 9930 and 9850...and since verizon never had 9810, I am just looking for my perfect all in one BB10 device!

Loved the storm, tried to get it but the guy who sell me my current Bold 9650 told me: "any self respecting BlackBerry merchant in HaNoi would stay clear from the storm"

Honestly? I don't think the Storm name is completely ruined, but it should be delegated to lower-end touchscreens, like BB10's version of the Curve Touch.

i cant say it enough...give me a touch with virtual and slider kb, but i would preferr landscape slider vs portrait....Verizon must carry something close!

I had the Storm 1 and currently still have the Storm 2. Just awaiting on a BB10 device. I like my phone BUT, they definately should not use the Storm name!

Best post EVER! OMG - I broke out in a cold sweat when I read the title of this thread. Sheesh. I had the first Storm for 24 LONG hours. Then gave it to my husband. He later got the Storm 2. Ya think you know someone (smh).

Honestly? I liked my Storm.

Aside from the fact that it was slow, buggy, and crashed a lot. The hardware was nice (except SurePress), and the camera was awesome.

I consider the name still usable, but as a low-end device.

I loved my 9550 (Storm2) with OS5, I was more upset that it didn't make the cut for OS6 than I was with how it worked. I upgraded to a 9380 (curve touch/storm3) and even though its OS7 its not really that different. I do sometimes miss the suretype. pictures were awesome with the touch to focus/press to capture.
I've been thinking all along that I'll name my BB10 storm-IV!

I loved my storm2 and I'm not even remotely ashamed of that. I bet if you look back far enough, at least half of these guys probably hyped the **** out of it when it was being released... But hindsight is always 20/20

Hey, I've had a storm 1 and my current phone is a storm 2! The storm 1 was a bit buggy but the storm 2 is great! Solid phone, easy to use, and suretype!

i just turned on my old Storm2...it was definitely an underrated messaging device! I believe if BB called the Torch 9850/60 the Storm3, the negative feelings mainly derived from the original Storm would have been masked! #StormLives

In all seriousness, as you see in my sig, my S1 was a POS but I did love my S2. I too regret the S3/OS6 never happened. The S1 was my first smartphone and I STILL stuck with BlackBerry!

I love my 9850 but I've got obsession to get the Z10 like nothing before! VZW is screwing me right now!

If BlackBerry were to EVER release anything with the Storm name on it, it should come with a 90 day return/no questions asked policy. They should also go through the device with a fine toothed comb before releasing it too! I personally don't see this ever happening. The Storm brand is damaged beyond repair, IMHO.

I've said it before; I don't care how many BlackBerry devices you've had before, if you're a former Storm owner and are STILL with BlackBerry, you can count yourself among the most hardcore BlackBerry enthusiasts on the planet!

+1 my first blackberry - i absolutely loved it. it's the only reason i kept up to date with bb news on crackberry. that clickscreen was the best touchscreen typing experience i have ever had - huge learning curve but combined with the sure type keyboard i could out-type anyone on their curve/bold/phyiscal keyboard bb.
