Does the Blackberry 10 platform run on a virtual machine like Android with its DalvikVM or Does it run like a normal desktop like how the ios platform is run?

First off, welcome to CrackBerry!

BB10 is based on QNX, which is a Unix-like OS utilizing the QNX real-time microkernel. iOS also is a Unix-like OS.

Did you mean to post this question in the Developers forums? That is for developers of third party BB10 apps.

I doubt my phone needs to be near 0 Kelvin to run. Quantum computing (from quantum mechanics) is unlike anything you have seen around you so far which falls under the traditional physics category.
