    Android is based on Linux kernel
    iPhone is based on XNU kernel

    It's built on QNX... totally different OS.

    It runs Android App by using an emulator or runtime on tope of the QNX OS....

    Has nothing to do with iOS.

    It's a UNIX like OS same as Android and iOS and any possible similarities with two of them are coming from UNIX roots.
