BlackBerry's website shows support for the .mkv video format. Now, I have some videos in that format that play just fine on my Windows 8 laptop but when I load them up on the phone they return with a "Not Supported" error. It might be an audio codec problem but I don't know how to tell that. The video files do generate thumbnails in the video app, so the phone can sort-of read them.

Anyone have any ideas of what can be done, or know of any easy/cheap/free way to convert the files to a readable format?

    Thanks,
    Rob.
