Can some one tell me if BB10 supports the old options of 'always' 'in holster ' 'out of holster' options in the notifications/profile settings?

Holster is handing for meetings etc at the moment as you can set it to silent by just using the holster, nice and easy!

this is what it seems like. I am really hoping BlackBerry will bring this functionality to BB10 at some point in the future updates.

Not totally true. There are some holster settings. Within the phone app, you can go to settings and there is a holster option you can modify. It let's you choose if you want the phone to answer calls when removed from holster automatically or hang up on them when inserted.

Also in Device password settings, there is an option for having the phone be automatically locked when holstered.

So right right now there is no way to toggle the profiles when holstered. But you would think knowing there is some holster interaction that maybe they will build that back in a future release. 10.1 maybe??

Not a deal breaker it's just a nice feature, hopefully coming soon to BB10. Maybe around March / April with the Q10 release, a bright side to the waiting for the devices to be released in Oz :-)

DAMN!! I was gonna start a thread about this one but found this thread instead. This is one of the BIG pluses that BB had over the competition. I love my holster so I finally purchased an OEM one and now I find out about this...sigh...hurry up BBRY and add this option back in. Otherwise the holster is just to put my BB to sleep. This is huge for me

Received my holster this a.m. It is wicked. I love it.
But....it wakes up when removed from the holster, and I do not like this very much! If I touch the screen in any way I have apps opening. Would like to be able to set to not wake and I will swipe to wake as I have been doing.

Addendum. Would also be ok if removing from holster would open to the notification screen like when you do a half swipe.

I just filled out a survey yesterday from the BlackBerry Beta Zone about notifications and I recommended that they had more holster options so hopefully they listen and implement these into a future build.

I'd like to see it back to what was on BBOS 7.1 at the least.

No there is not an option. I talked to Bbry about a month ago, he claimed it was a huge over sight. One would think we all the leaks leaking out they would of addressed it. I miss the option too, I feel like I have a stupid IPhone or droid and have to do everything for it

Didn't notice anything new with 10.1.

Sounds like 10.2 will have some more in depth notification settings so hopefully more holster options aren't too far away!
